General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Your liver enzymes SGOT (80) and SGPT (112) are increased.
You are also diabetic since 1999, and now on insulin shots.

Diabetes is often associated with fatty liver. This might explain the increased liver enzymes. However, an abdominal ultrasound is required to determine the morphology of the liver.

Next, hepatitis testing are also recommended to rule out hepatitis before admitting you are having fatty liver.

Your total bilirubin is 1.37 (slightly increased). But your doctor still put on ursocol; if you have other test reports, please send to me to analyze them further as I need to understand the final diagnosis determined by your doctor who put on ursocol.

Ramcor and Eslo are treating your high blood pressure. They are not affecting your liver this time.

At the end, I recommend to consult further with gastrohepatologist and run the recommended tests to determine the right diagnosis of altered liver enzymes.

Wish fast recovery.
