Hi Welcome to HCM.
I understand your query and concern.

The elevated SGPT in your case could most likely to be a sequel of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis-NASH.Its extremely common in men who does not smoke or drink. This condition can be corrected with diet and exercise alone.Regular intake of oatmeal daily for 3 months will help to lower the liver cholesterol and reduce the SGPT levels.Intake of fruits like apple, peach, pomegranate and avocado is strongly recommended.Drink plenty of water about 3-4 liters of water.Avoid chana dal as it contains high fat content.Repeat Liver function tests after 3 months of strict diet and exercise regime.Consult your Hepatologist for further queries.
Thank you.
