What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure And Back Pain?

I take 3) .3 clonidine, 3)50 hydralazine and 2)25 aldactone , all Mg a day for my BP. I also take klonopin .1 3 times a day for anxiety. I take an asperin at night and some ranitadine as needed. I have prostate and testical issues as well. I have been prescribed dutestreride because the alpha blockers caused problems with my blood pressure. I still have the testicle/prostate pain. I have since started to get problem in my nipple and chest area. I have esophogus contraction problems. The last week they have become very severe in the pain. I went to see a gastrologists and he wants me to take cardizem for the cramps. My pulse stays in the upper 50 s to 70 s. I have had the blood pressure problems since 200 and they have become much worse since 2010. My symptoms seem to indicate a gall bladder problem but they wanted to focus on the heart issue. I have had several stress tests, blood work, heart and kidney caths and and echo cadiograms with all saying my heart is fine. I am allergic to beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, lisinopril, statins and sulfa. I still am having cramps/pains like someone hit me in the solar plexus and in my back. My pressure still spike occasionally and I have Isolated Systolic hypertension too. All these tests and years of doctors but no ansers to my BP problems, just more pills etc...

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out spine related problems like a prolapsed disc or nerve compression.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
