What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Level While On Metoprolol?

hi, I'm 62 male, had a stent in coronary artery, taking 12.5 mg metoprolol and 160 mg valsarten, 85 mg aspirin, weight 180, ht 5'9"...had bp taken and systolic was high 153/80-85 after 2 or 3 reading with home battery operated monitor. Cause for concern?

Your blood pressure it's near normal considering to your age .
I would suggest to measure it 2 day for 1 week and to see how your blood pressure changes .
