What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Level?

I have high blood pressure and been to the Er twice this month they put me on two different medications and it still running 170/105 to 189 /130 I don t have a primary care doctor yet the medication isn t doing what its suspose the and i have. Been a intravenous drug user for ten yrs or so and the doctors havent been able to draw any blood either time I seen them at the e.r. Just a urine analyst s and detected riboflavin and glucose. In my urine so my question is what may be some of the reasons for my sudden increase in blood pressure ?

Hello,

You should do a total blood count and blood chemistry. A damaged kidney function, kidney failure or disease can cause sudden rise In blood pressure. Use medications every day.
