What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels And Arrhythmia?
A Nurse told me to look into JNCV1 regarding my husbands high blood pressure. It spiked & he ended up in the hospital & is on meds & moniter for a month. I’m a retired RN & can’t find info on JNCV1. We have a return appointment with our internist on the 12/26 but his B/P is still up & down. He developed an arrythmia also. He’s 71 & he got light headed when we were doing the Christmas tree. We checked his B/P & it was 188/ 88 & went to Kaiser’s. He was admited because as they treated him the pressure kept in reading. I know he needs his kideys checked out & echo & more meds, but what’s jncv1? Please.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You need to let your husband go for a thorough Heart check up. He may have a developing coronary artery disease. Hope he in under medication now. This is the time when you should not neglect as now you can help him get better. Let him go for Thyroid tests, LFT, ECG, etc as required. He will need a lifestyle change, diet restrictions/healthy diet, regular exercise & walking, quitting smoking, alcohol, etc, healthy weight. See a doctor & get him treated well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
