What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels And Burning Sensation In The Neck?

Hi, I have high blood pressure and sometimes when I am stressed the back of my neck starts to heated up. It would heated as high as 104 temperature. I do take medication for my high blood pressure and it does not help. Is this serious, what kind of effect will it cause?
