What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels And Headaches While On Propranolol?

I have been on propranolol now for about a month and I feel worse than I did and my blood pressure is high than it was and I have headaches. My pressure this morning was 178/105 and my pressure Friday was 198/110, that was after trying to take a walk the other was when I first got up this morning. Can other medicine counteract with this medicine and or vitamins? I checked with my cardiologist Friday and they didn t even ask or seem to care that I want else I was taking.

I can understand your concern.
Propranolol is beta blocker. It is mainly use for heart rate control. It won't interact with multivitamin tablets or other drugs.
You are on propranolol and having high blood pressure readings, so propranolol is not sufficient to control your blood pressure.
So you are ahead start newer antihypertensive drugs like telmisartan, losartan, amlodipine etc.
Strict salt restriction in required.
Get done regular blood pressure monitoring and titrate dose accordingly.
Since these are prescribed drugs, you need to consult doctor for this.
