What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels?

My blood pressure spiked to 160/100 today when I went to get my heart checked by a firefighter, they checked it again and it went down to 154/94 and when I got home it was 106/64 usually 115/77. I’ve had and ECG and Stress test all cleared as normal this year. Went to the doctor last week and blood pressure was 128/78 , why the sudden spike, was I just completely nervous? Is my machine messed up? I also take 40mg lisinopril
