What Causes Elevated Blood Sugar Level Post Injury?

I was in a fight three weeks ago.Never was punched in the ribs but from hitting the floor I have had a pain that doesnt wont to go away.Dont feel as a cracked rib.However I did go to doc for gheckup yhis week and my liver and sugar levels are elevated,would that have any effect on that.Diabetes is in my family,can understand,but,so sudden,was it the fall

crack or fracture can be diagnosed by clinical examination. if not confirm the can have x-ray. for crack or fracture strepping can be done. for higher level you can go for tratment.
