What Causes Elevated Blood Sugar Levels After Taking Primolut N?

Doctor recommend me primolut n for my irregular periods but being a diabetic my sugar level was increasing after taking it so I ve to stop the consumption of the medicine and now my periods are again very irregular it just started immediately after stopping it. Why it is happening??
