General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Diabetes is a serious condition. Not controlling your sugars can result in serious complications including heart attack, stroke, blindness and kidney failure to name just a few. Your sugars should be almost always below 150. You really need to be on a low carb diet and exercising daily. If you are not willing to do this then your doctor will need to add more medications to get your sugars down into a somewhat controlled range.
