Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 23 year old son just called and asked what might make him feel Hot and Nauseous He is a non-smoker, non-drug user and takes no medicines or vitamins. He is about 5 9 and @150lbs in good health. This is not a usual thing for him. He said it started this morning and has gotten a little worse throughout the day. Heat seems to be a factor that increases the feeling of nausea. It is 72 degrees here and very cloudy - certainly not hot by typical standards but he feels like he is hot and when he called, said he was sweating a little. He has a very mild headache described as slightly tingly in his forehead area with a little but of ache or pain in the back area of his head. He had an eye exam this morning. he has mild seasonal allergies and a slight propensity for anxiety. Thoughts?
These are symptoms of infection which he has acquired. There is no need to worry. He needs to take antibiotics like Amoxycillin, Paracetamol and Domperidone. He will relieve. Do one thing feed him light meals, soup and plenty of fluids.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. SOHEEL HUSSAIN ZARGAR,
