What Causes Elevated Estrogen Levels?
What would the treatment for a high estrogen level be? my estrogen level was 2003, so I stopped my bioidentical hormones. How long does it take for this level to decrease? I am symptomatic with headaches, difficulty with memory, weight gain and bloating. Thanks

Causes of high estrogen. The body may only produce high levels of estrogen, or it may produce high levels of estrogen and low levels of another hormone, such as testosterone or progesterone.
Other medications that can increase estrogen levels include hormonal contraceptives.
