General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for the query at HealthcareMagic

Elevated ferritin levels indicates incresed serum iron levels as seen in a hereditary condition called Hemochromatosis or chronic inflammatory conditions like Rheumatoid arthritis.
Confirmation of diagnosis is based on your clinical history, evaluation and other blood investigations.
Increased Iron can deposit in your liver and cause cirrhotic changes. Please be advised to follow up with an internal medicine specialist to confirm the diagnosis and appropriate management.

Hope this answers your question
