General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Normal heart rate is between 60 to 100 per minute. In the case of a physically fit person/athlete, it can be as low as 40. Heart activity is said to be best at rest with a low rate. Sinus tachycardia can raise heart rate without any symptom except for being disturbed due to palpitation.

But a low heart rate can also be due to a conduction problem in stimulating heart contraction. Raised heart rate with a headache also signals for blood pressure & heart check-up. I would suggest getting your cardiac health checked up by a heart specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
