What Causes Elevated Heart Rate And Shortness Of Breath?

had an episode with heart rate at 225 per minute waited 7 hrs + before seeking treatment (by force) I was fine until I got to emergency room and tried to walk in. Then I was gasping for air. Needless to say after a shot I was fine but stayed in the hospital for 2 days for tests. No damage no blockage doc says it was a freak accident that my heart pumping the blood took the wrong way and was not regulated what do you think?

I reviewed your query and here is my advice. You should be tested for rhythm heart disease. An eCG should be done to check heart rhythms. Also I recommend you to check thyroid for hyperthyroidism.
