Female, 24 yrs old. Overweight by about 75lbs, have been for about 2 years. Once a week for the past 6 weeks, when relaxing-I will get fast heart rate over 100, light headed, short of breath. Last week was so dizzy once rate increased, I could not walk straight. It usually last about 10 minutes, but last week I felt bad for longer. I have been tested for several
infections, and nothing. My white blood cell count has been elevated about a 13, the past 3 weeks. I have been on a small ECG heart monitor with electrodes for about 2 1/2 weeks. The cardiologist does not know the issue at this time for my heart rate is fine when I am being seen by the doctor. Never went to ER because I am 30 minutes away and the feeling would be gone before i got there. Also the omly recent change is more stress with my job. I have always had neck trouble from young child to teenager-due to trauma, as far as i know not any nerve damage. What could cause my heart rate to speed up during relaxation times?
