What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes In Blood?

Hi I did my checkup in February and was informed that my liver enzymes were slightly elevated. I repeated the test a week ago ie June 17 . The results indicated that they are now much higher. I no longer drink alcohol or take over the counter drugs. What are the possible cause/s

There are many causes for your liver enzymes to be elevated .

some of the common causes are certain medications like statins used to control cholesterol.
Non-alcoholic liver disease
Obesity
over the counter medication like paracetamol .

I would advice you to go through few investigations under your family doctors supervision along with your previous test reports.
