Hi

I have gone through your query.

There are 2 main liver enzymes. These are the ALT and the AST. There are usually in the range of 20 to 40. However, to be increased significantly, the enzyme levels need to be increased in the 100s.

However, there are a few things that need to be checked as well. Here are a few tests that can help. These include -
Liver function test
Bilirubin
Ultrasound of the liver
Liver biopsy if needed

Further investigations can be done if any of the results are positive. However, based on what you are describing, it sounds like you may have fatty liver.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vignan Rachabattuni
