What Causes Elevated Pulse Rate While On Treatment For Pneumonia?
Hello. Recovering from pneumonia. Moderate right middle lobe. I had a fever for 11 days but have been fever free for four days now. My last dose of augmentin was today. Pulse has been high for a week. Today at doc office it was 123 BP was 128/82 which is hug for me. (Norm 110/70). Doc checking thyroid and CBC for blood infection. Are They doing enough? Should I be worried?

It could be due to fever and persistent infection.
Nothing much to worry and it will return to once the infection settles.
