What Causes Elevation In Liver Enzymes And Bilirubin Levels?

I have had elevated liver enzymes and bilirubin levels for weeks. I have been very I'll to the point of hospitalization and no one can tell me why this is happening. I am a breast cancer survivor. I'm not on many medications besides thyroid medicine. I feel like someone is missing something. The inside of my mouth is itchy and yellow. The whites of my eyes are yellow and I itch like crazy. Do you have any suggestions on things I should be looking for or questions I should be asking?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi!
I really appreciate your concern about the happenings for last couple of weeks.
It looks like you are having liver disease which is reflected in the form of yellowish discoloration of the white portion of your eyes associated with itching, raised level enzymes and bilirubin.
You are advised to see the doctor to find out the cause for this liver disease and also to rule out the possibility of spread of breast cancer to the liver.
Regards!
