What Causes Elevation In Sugar Levels With Burning In Abdomen After A Tooth Extraction?
I m diabetic. Until one week ago, in control, with rising range of low 50 s. Rising to about 125 range after eating. A1C of 5.3%. Then a week ago I had a tooth pulled (#19). Now, my rising is 90, and post is 225 range. When my stomach is empty, it hurts, like a bad burning sensation. Plus, I want to vomit, but nothing comes out, except orange liquid (stomach acid?). Please explain this to me?
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
Dear Sir/ Mam, The classical changes that have occurred are because of stress. Both higher sugar levels and burning sensation are of stress.
Burning and Vomiting sensation are of acidity. Antacids like Pantoprazole plus domperidone combination for a week or ten days would help you. Regarding sugar levels they usually subside with time. Or take a Glucose tolerance test for diagnosing any diabetic indication.
Hope this guides you. Thank you. Dr Phanindra Dulipala.
