What Causes Elevation In The BP Levels And Anxiety?
I ve just recently started having problems with my bp its been running between 136/111 to 174/95...I also suffer from anxiety attacks I m 39 yr old female...when do I know if it s more than an anxiety attack...what does the number need to be before you seek medical attention...
Anxiety attack has to be treated promptly and at the earliest. Nothing much to worry as it is a readily curable condition. Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit. You might require anti-anxiety meds like clonazepam for best results. If the blood pressure is persistently high, antihypertensives may be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
