What Causes Emotional Imbalance And Irritation Postpartum?
Hello, I think i have a hormone imbalance since i had my son 15 months ago. I am constantly stressed out for no reason, irritable, emotional, feel like i am in a fog, I sometimes have moments of sheer panic and i feel like this anger building the more stressed i get. It does not take much at all to trigger me to cry and I am not depressed. I have had depression and this is something completely different.
Hello there. i have read through your question and what I can understand is that you are suffering from postpartum depression. It is a common condition and takes time to recover. I would advice you to try the following steps. 1. stay away from stressors. 2. talk to someone about your problems . 3. try yoga and meditation everyday. 4. do some form of light exercise like brisk walking at least for 30 mins every day. 5. avoid caffeine as it increases anxiety.6. Take a break of atleast one hour everyday for yourself doing what you like . DO this atleat for two weeks and see if you feel any improvement. if not then you may need to take anxiolytics and for that cosult your physician as they are prescription drugs. Hope I was able to help. wish you good health.
