my son is trying to come off alcohol. he is experiencing emotional swings, weakness , diorientation, numbness of hands and feet. he was a very heavy drinker and is cutting backa little every day. what is happening to him? should he see a health professional?

its very natural.its called withdrawl symptoms.you need not to worry.u can cosult doctor if u need otherwise simple anxiolytics will do
