What Causes Enlarged Protruding Vein Above The Right Ear?

At thanksgiving I saw my Afro American brother whom I have seen for months. He is 66 and appears to be in good health and physical condition. He is bald, and I notice an enlarged vein crossing an inch or so above his right ear and going for several inches in an almost horizontal. I did not get a chance to privately talk to him. What should my next step be?

He should visit his primary physician and check his blood presure. This condition could be coused not only by high blood presure but also by stress and anxiety
