What Causes Enlarged Right Ventricle In The Upper Chamber?

I did an echo test one week ago and my doctor told me I have a sightly enlarged right ventricle and upper chamber. My blood test and chest x-ray results seem to be normal, and I'm scheduled for a a CT scan this week. It started a couple months ago as very frequent ectopic beats and palpitations then gradually it got better and eventually it was gone. Recently though been feeling a strange pinch sensation where my heart is and sometimes even a stabbing pain with an occasional ectopic beat. Having said that to my cardiologist and him noticing the enlargements he made it sound so casual like it's perfectly normal. Should I be worried or should I trust my doctors judgement? I'm 28 and was into high intensity interval training, kick boxing, and weight lifting. Haven't been training for the past couple of months just in case.

HI THANKS FOR POSTING YOUR QUERY.
IT IS COMMON TO HAVE ENLARGED HEART CHAMBERS IN SPORSTMEN.
YOU SEEM TO HAVE PALPITATIONS ie: FEELING OF ONE'S OWN SENSATION OF HEART BEAT,ONE NEED TO EVALUATE THE EXACT CAUSE OF IT.
I SUGGEST AN HOLTER ELECTROCARDOGRAM-a continous 24hr ambulatory monitoring of heart's beating pattern, this can recorded missed beats/ectopics and describe it quite effectively.
benign ectopics are quite frequent and need no further treatment.
abnormal rhythmsl like supraventricular tachycardia/atrial fibriilation/atrial flutter//ventricular tachycardia have to be treated.
antiarrythmics can be helpful.in selective cases radiofrequecy ablation can be used.
conclusive opinion:
need further follow up in your case.consult an expert cardiologist.
thank you.
