What Causes Enlarged Spleen?

I m 71 a year and a half ago my CPK showed over 1000 has gone up and down never normal always high I m not sure what kind of doctor I need to check this out for me other blood work is a concern also. My spleen was taken out a year ago it was the size of a football no doctor knows why?
