What Causes Enlarged Taste Buds And Thick White Layer Near Uvula?
I am concerned, I have noticed that I have enlarged taste buds on the top of my tongue near the back towards the throat, I have also noticed that I have a small white sac hanging next to my uvula that causes no pain or anything, lastly I have had a decently bad cough which is not consistent or anything throughout the day, curious to what is going on, along with hat I have had a pain that has been off and on on the left hand side of my Adam s apple
As per your complain you have problem of whitish area near uvula and near tongue part that may be because of oral Candida over growth. Before diagnosing any thing oral examination is required to give exact idea about problems. Exfoliating cytology of this lesion is helpful for further diagnosis. Consult a dentist for oral examination and to diagnose the problem.
