What Causes Epilepsy After Reducing The Levipil Quantity Intake?
i was taking levipil 500 for 6 years.since 1 year i have reduced it to 250mg.then i reduced it to 125 mg and epilepsy which was not there for 3 years attacked me low intensively. now doctor has told me to continue with 250 mg. can i stop this tablet anytime after sometime?
Your epileptic attack could have occurred due to withdrawal of this levipil tablet since your doctor as reduced the dose up to 125 mg which would not be sufficient to cease further fits attacks.
So,you should continue with levipil 250 mg dosage and there is no scope here to stop this tablets even in future because the tendency to have fits episodes remain always.
Generally, epilepsy patient require life long medications.
Consult your treating physician or neurologist for complete treatment.
