What Causes Episodes Of Dull Pain In Lower Right Side Of The Abdomen?

Hi, I m a 57 yr old female, 10 yrs. post menopausal. For a couple of weeks, I ve been having a strong, dull pain on my way lower, right side. It seems to come and go, I really notice at night, when I m more still. No back pain, no pain with peeing, no bowel problems. Thanks
