Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have begun having episodes of unconsciousness for brief periods during my work. I am a call center customer service representative. I have had calls that I don t remember what the call was about, and if I finished the call or they hung up. Last Monday, I blacked out 3 times in the same call. I called my doctor s office and was told to go to the ER. I did and they gave me a full cardiac workup, but did not give me a diagnosis, except for syncope. In the hospital, I started to feel faint while lying down and about 30 minutes after eating. I was talking to my roomate, and suggested that they take my blood pressure, it was about 90/43. I don t know what to do. I drive 65 miles to work and am afraid to travel if I might have this episode while driving.
