What Causes Episodes Of Low Blood Pressure While On BP Medication?

I sometime have low blood pressure such as 100 - 110 over 70 - 80 with a pulse of somewhere between 65 to 75 and when this happens I feel very tired. I take blood pressure meds for high plod pressure. Is this caused from the meds to strong? I am a very active senior and this usually happens when I am unable to go outside to work or walk.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your Blood pressure is falls down to as low as 100/70 and you also feel tired occasionally it means you are on a higher dose of anti-hypertensive than required.

You have not mentioned here which anti-hypertensive you are taking and what is the dose. I would advise you to consult your physician and get your dose adjusted.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
