My son Jacob is 13 and his weight is 120. Recently he started having random nose bleeds. This really concerns us. We have three chidren that have been very healthly kids. My concern is that it even happens when he's asleep. Can you offer any explanation. Thank you

Hello Mr.
Congratulation for your children.
I think that there will be nothing serious .
In the nose there are a lot of blood veins specially in the nasal septum. Some time , more often in young people one or many of tham can be demaged, most of tjw time get healed by themselfs., but some time dont.
If the bleeding persist you should see an ENT doctor , they can do a very small procedure to stop bleeding ( blood vessels cauterization with radiofrecuency).
Wish you the best...:)
