What Causes Erectile Dysfunction After A T12/L1 Injury In The Elderly?
I am a t12 l1 paraplegic. Basically I have no feeling in my pens but sometimes get a partial erection. I there a chance I might be able to have sex or possible release myself....I broke my back over ten years ago. DO I have ay hope. I am 70. Thank you.
Unfortunately, it is due to the weakness of the nerves supplying the penile muscles maintaining the erection. Consult a urologist and get evaluated. There is are certain prosthetic devices that can help a bit.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
