What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?

I 38 years old, 5 foot 8 inch, and 190lbs. I am having periods of times where I cannot sustain an erection. I noticed one week everything is fine and I wake up with an erection in the morning. The next week I do not wake up with an erection. I notice I do not have much of a sex drive and have trouble sustaining an erection.
