What Causes Erection Problem And Low Sexual Desire With History Of Pituitary Macroadenoma?

had a pirtuitary macroadenoma which was removed transnasally and was said to be benign, have low libido and can hard get a hard erection, this is seriously affecting my love life, what is the relationship between this diagnosis and testosterone levels

hello user, i went through your details . in cases of pituatary macroadenomas - sexual dysfunctions can be commonly observed and rather than testosterone levels they are the result of increased "prolactin" hormone by these adenomas - if this condition is persisting even after surgery , i would advise you to consult again your endocrinologist who may like to put you on dopaminergic drugs like bromocriptine or cabergoline (if not already) as this may help. hope i answered your query , if satisfied please rate the answer
