What Causes Esophageal Spasms And Gastritis Long After Treating Hiatal Hernia?
I ve had gastric symptoms for almost three years off and on. Just had 6 different tests with stool samples, all came back negative. Had a hiatal hernia back in 2006, but three years ago I also had five different gastric tests - endoscopy, colonoscopy, swallowing, stomach emptying test... yet today I still have esophageal spasms, gastric issues.... pain in my left side/ribs... I am a mystery.

Hello,
Ideally, you should take antacids regularly, and avoid eating junk and spicy food. You should also get your cardiac evaluation done if your age is more than 40 and you have family history of cardiac disorder.
