General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
If you had an endoscopy that shows lesions in the lower part of esophagus than the first most likely cause is acid re-flux. Rare diagnoses are if you have been digesting medications or pills that many get stuck in the esophagus and cause ulcers there.
If you have not digested something that might cause ulcers there than I would recommend some omeprazole which reduces the acid and helps the lesions heal. Also make sure you take frequent small amount of food during the day, have 5 small meals instead of 3 big ones, do not miss meals and the last meal should be at least 4 hours before bed. Also avoid acid food and fast-food, quit smoking and reduce coffee to 2 or less a day and do not drink too much fluids before bed. Also try to lift the head of the bed with bricks to keep your head a little higher.
These are all measures that might help with your symptoms.
Hope this answers to your question and is helpful to you
