What Causes Ethmoid Sinus Mucous Retention Cyst?

yes i went to the e.r and they told me i had a small left ethmoid sinus mucous retention cyst,which the room seemed it was spinning with me and my eyes were dancing all over the place and i felt pressure in the back of my head ,i just turned 50 years old so do you know why this happend?

The Retention cyst as the name suggests is a collection of the secretions in a confined space as the drainage is blocked. The mucosa goes on secreting the secretions. The pressure within the confined space causes all the symptoms you have descried. You have to undergo Surgery for such a Retention Cyst.
