What Causes Excess Mucus In The Throat While On Amlodipine?
I have been taken 2.5 of amlodipine now for 6 months. Ever since I started I have had severe mucus and throat and post nasal drip. The start of the amlodipine also concurred with allergy season (of which I never had allergies) since nothing I take helps with the mucus and post nasal drip is it at all possible that the amlodipine could be the culprit.

Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of Amlodipine. I suggest using a mucolytic to help with the excess mucus in the throat. I also recommend drinking a lot of liquids.
