What Causes Excess Twitching During Sleep?

Okay, so I have a question. My parents are really concerned about me at the moment because I go to sleep, and I twitch while I'm sleeping without realizing it. I itch like crazy every other day; but I'm not allergic to anything. I've passed out 4 times in the past 2 months. I zone out for about 15 seconds while I'm in the car while my parents are driving or even when I'm driving D=. Anyways, I need to know if there is an illness that causes all of these syptoms, so I'll have an idea when I go to my doctors.
