What Causes Excess Vaginal Discharge After Taking Alphamox 500 For Swollen Tonsils?

I recently completed a course of Alphamox 500 due to swollen tonsils and bacteria. But after completion i was noticing alot of vaginal discharge, alot more then normal. But lastnight i woke in the night with an urge to pee every hour with a stinging pain. This morning when i went to urinte i noticed my pee was pinky coloured and i passed a little red blood ball about the size of average freckle. I am a female, 18 years of age and am not sexually active

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that white discharge is normal sometimes after a course of antibiotics but if you are passing red clots then you either wait for you periods or consult a gynecologist.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
