I have been experiencing severe gas, belching, and flatulence. The belching tastes and smells of rotten eggs. The gas is so severe that I have to sleep sitting up. It is accompanied by a burning sensation below my diaphragm, diarrhea, and occasionally vomiting. Prilosec helps occasionally. It doesn t matter what I eat, or drink, it seems the older I get the more things cause this to happen. I am at my wits end, and have seriously considered not eating. The doctors in my area have been useless, and only suggest different antacids, most of which seem to only make me vomit and feel worse than I did to begin with. Added note, I do not have a gallbladder.
