Hi! My name is Michael I am 51 years old and a former Power Weight Lifter! I have 30 years+ with a weight training and I am a P.Trainer and experienced Corrective Conditioning Specialist! Ever since 2004 I gained about 30-36Lb of B.Fat and I am not able to loose it even though I am on a perfect Custom Design diet and I train on a reg base! Why my body is storing the B.Fat? The more I train the more my body uses Muscle mass as a Fuel and stores the body Fat! Is it Possible that my Tyroid doesen t function properly even though The blood test shows the Tyroid levels Normal? As per my clinical experience, the excessive body fat build up after rigorous exercise work up indicate possible metabolic disorder of digestion pathway. There are certain issues of liver with increased production of triglycerides and LDL type of cholesterol, accumulating as excess fat in the body via hyperlipidemia conditions. The basic need here would be fasting lipid profile before commencing further pathway of cure which may require lipid lowering agents such as Atorvastatin or others.
