What Causes Excessive Body Tremors And Sweating In A Diabetic Patient?
My husband has type 2 diabetes and has been suffering shaky and sweaty spells he has high blood pressure and siatica which he takes a variety of medication for amyltripiline gabapentin dihydricodiene omeprazole rampiril doxasozin atorstatin could all these tablets have an affect on this or could the diabetes be getting worse he also has blurred vision during these spells
This might be due to over treatment of diabetes causing low blood sugar in blood. Diabetes affects vision by causing cataract and retinopathy. 1. Immediately take small amount of glucose whenever tremor and sweating occurs. Severe low blood glucose can cause coma. So if you feel any disturbance in consciousness, then immediately go to hospital for further treatment 2. Consult an ophthalmologist for eye check. Do not ignore it as it might cause blindness 3. Consult your endocrinologist for review of treatment medications 4. Take medicines regularly 5. Investigations a. Blood sugar (F & PP) b. Blood HbA1c c. Serum creatinine Thanks
