What Causes Excessive Burping?

My friend burps excessively and doesn't know why. She never farts, but burps to no end. She isn't lactose intolerant and doesn't get constipated; we don't know why she burps so damn much, but it's becoming a concern because she wants a boyfriend. Please help, I don't want her to be lonely forever

Hi,

I have gone through your question. More fatty food consumption and fast eating may cause burning problems. Gastroesophageal reflux disease may be ruled out. Malabsorption syndrome or intestinal infection also cause this type of symptoms.

Frequent chewing of chewing gum entrapment of air occurs. Irritable bowel syndrome may be ruled out. Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems.

I hope my guidance helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rachana Goswami
