Hi there, over the past couple of years I have started burping ALOT. Before then I rarely burped unless I had fizzy drinks which wasn t often at all. These burps come at all times of day regardless as to whether I have eaten. I saw a doctor who prescribed me omeprozole, which I took for 1 month. This eased it for about 2 weeks, but then it came back. I went back to my doctor but unfortunately I wasn t staying in my country long enough to get any tests done. Now I am travelling. Over the past few weeks the burping has got much worse, it s all day and even during the night sometimes I wake up doing it. The past 3 days I have been non stop burping and very uncomfortable with abdominal pain. If I press on my stomach the pain is in the lower abdomen, and then there is waves of pain under my ribs often starting in the back under my ribs and moving round to the front. If I push on my lower abdomen it can send a pain into my ribs. This pain is more so after I have eaten, I m trying to eat smaller meals and avoid certain foods but it doesn t seem to have improved at all. Thanks
