What Causes Excessive Clear Vaginal Discharge While On Depo Injection?

hi i am on my first depo injection and am not due for my next injection for another 2 months. the injection has completely stopped my periods. i had sex with a guy 2 days ago and the day after i had light vaginal bleeding for the whole day and then the next day the bleeding stopped and i have had really excessive clear vaginal discharge which is soaking my underwear. is this because of the depo injection? or is something else wrong?

Thanks for posting a question in HCM.
From your description, it appears that most of the things what you are experiencing is because of depo injection
One of the effects observed of Depo injection is irregular menstrual periods, or no periods at all.
After sex, light vaginal bleeding may be due to implantation bleeding, which generally occurs as spotting, sometimes light and sometimes heavy.
Excess vaginal discharge may also be due to the reaction post implantation bleed.
Hence you need not be worried much about this. In case you have a doubt regarding pregnancy, get a urine pregnancy test done and clear all your doubts.
